Telegraph names nine England stars in their current Lions squad for the 2025 tour

Following the appointment of Andy Farrell as head coach for the British & Irish Lions tour of Australia in 2025, the focus naturally shifts to speculation over potential squad members.

The 48-year-old Englishman succeeds Gatland after impressing as Ireland manager for four years, including a Grand Slam and a historic 2-1 series win over New Zealand.

Farrell will take a break from his role with Ireland from December 2024 until the end of the Lions tour.

The Lions have already announced the nine-match schedule for their 2025 Tour of Australia, including three Test matches against the Wallabies.
